Women
Make your needs a priority
Unhappiness and overwhelm do not have to be something you carry alone.
Do you feel unhappy and not sure why? Many women describe a quiet heaviness — going through the motions, taking care of everyone else, and wondering when they stopped feeling like themselves.
Overwhelm is common when the list never ends. You may be the one who remembers, organizes, soothes, and holds the family together. That work is real. It can also leave little room for your own needs.
Counseling can help you stand up for yourself — at home, at work, and in the stories you tell yourself. It can help you let go of guilt that does not belong to you, learn to love yourself, and treat your needs as something that matters, not something leftover.
You can love your family and still make yourself a priority. Those two things are not opposites.
Individual therapy starts with an assessment. Together we decide how often to meet. Sessions are 50 minutes. Homework is often given. A free phone consultation is available if you would like to talk first.
